I’d barely heard of her before this thread (though I’m banned from editing Conservapedia by her son, so I guess we have a connection). But she was clearly an intellectual giant. Not only was she able to recognise that the greatest presidents have been men (QFT) but that the greatest presidents were very good for your country. It takes a certain kind of sheer genius to come up with that kind of correlation.
I must also say that Conservapedia hits (nay, smashes) the nail on the head with this:

I’m sure she had people who loved her and will mourn her passing, but beyond that I’m struggling to think of any positive impact she made on the world.
I care. I’m happy she died and I hope she suffered. I’m also glad to know that in her last moments, she died knowing that gay marriage is legal in the US and there wasn’t one thing she could do about it
