As it turns out. . . She actually had decent steady work as a stage actress. Looking at the press accounts of her performances I didn’t see any that made light of her abilities in the stage roles she performed. Although one article both ribbed her and praised her at the same time:
Pia Zador, who’s with Rich Little at the Riviera Hotel, has been made up to look like some cheap gun moll who’s there only because some James Cagney kind of guy back east wants to make her a star.
Zadora has much bounce and verve, and her act is well produced. She has talent and enthusiasm for entertaining in a spirited manner.
