I’ve been taking piano lessons for a few months now, and doing fairly well with them (I think!). As part of this, I’ve developed very specific calluses on the sides of my thumbs–right at the bottom of my thumbnail, more or less, on the outside side. It’s where my thumb hits the white keys, basically. Is this normal? Just curious. (At the moment, they seem to be failing me, making playing rather painful.)
