Pickup Truck Unibody?

Subaru Baha, or the almost forgotten Subaru BRAT.

I was going to say, probably the biggest reason why don’t see unibody trucks is that there isn’t really much of a market in the US for the sorts of small practical trucks that could benefit from a unibody construction. At least not a new market-- like a lot of other “practical” segments of the market the problem is that if you’re a cheapskate who needs a truck, you’re going to buy used. The new buyers all want big overpowered behemoths, and while a lot of cheapskates want small fuel efficient trucks, at least with US fuel prices the numbers work out in favor of buying a used behemoth not a new fuel-sipping runabout.

A Cadillac, no less.

That is way cool. I wonder if it handles more like a Caddy, or more like the truck it’s really based on?

Good find, but not sure that counts as "in production’. It’s not like you can walk into your local dealer and order one.
