DVD Video
Yes, I have a digital video disc video player.
I was going to make the SCUBA gear point, but I see GrizzRich beat me to it.
So does that mean it’s Redundant RAS Syndrome?
An ATM machine maker. … Or “ATMMM maker” for short.
AHHHHHHH!!!
Well, actually, DVD stands for both “Digital Video Disc” and “Digital Versatile Disc.” I do believe the latter was the original acronym, and thus the DVD consortium chose to label those players that were meant for video playback to be identified by DVD-Video. As opposed to DVD-ROM (Digital Versatile Disc - Read Only Memory), DVD-A (Audio), DVD-R (Recordable), DVD-RW (rewriteable), etc, etc… You’ll notice that your DVD player actually says DVD-Video, simply to identify the type of DVD discs that play on that player.
CD did not follow this pattern because when the CD was introduced, it was ONLY for use as an audio medium. The computer implications were soon realized, and CD-ROMs were introduced, but that was a bit later…DVD was intended for many different applications at its outset.
…and the firm that fits out that factory?
I always thought CAD stood for Computer Aided Drafting.
Computer Aided Drafting Design is awkward, but its not as bad as “ATM Machine”.

Yes, I corrected it . . .
River Avon.
Around my workplace it is regularly used as I described above, but thanks anyway.
I had no idea there were so many FOD websites. There’s even a picture of one of the engines I work with.
Now back to your regularly scheduled thread.
I always thought that “sedan” meant not a hatchback or van or other vehicle. I sure thought my car was a two-door sedan.
I guess by now you know you have a 2 door coupe…
