Sorry for the hijack, but I hate those after market third-party iPod/Android protectors. Why don’t they just make the freakin phone out of Otterbox so it doesn’t get ruined when I drop it in the toilet?
It increases the size of the phone.
Why is it such a bad colour for males? Sexism and homophobia. It’s as simple as that.
Yep. Those deep feelings you’ve had since you were 6 years old of wanting to play with the girls, and wondering why you have this strange and ugly thing between your legs, and the despair of watching the girls develop in junior high, while you get left behind…it’s all coming to the surface via your phone. You need to grab hold of the change and manage it. As a fellow transwoman, I can recommend some good support groups and links…
Pelican.
I had not heard of OtterBox before. I use Pelican cases for the big stuff, and Pelican micro cases for the small stuff such as my cells.
Because it’s French, and to a redneck, French = gay.
Rednecks are still pissed about being fooled by the French into planting a giant statute of a gay in drag with a face like Stalloneon Bedloe’s Island.
I have a good (female) friend who had a pink OtterBox before changing to a case in her school’s colors. She gave me the OtterBox but I haven’t been able to put it on my phone. If it were a pale, Pepto pink, maybe, but not the bright pink color. No way! Looked good on HER phone, though.
I just recently purchased some annoying pink Hello Kity checks (or cheques), simply because I know it’s wildly inappropriate for a 27 year old male to be passing off pink Hello Kitty checks.
What can I say? I’m a rebel.
Now you’ve inspired me to get a pink My Little Pony phone case too.
It looks like their Samsung cases don’t have this problem; it might be a problem with Apple users instead of Otterbox.
I have an iPod OtterBox. They window the Apple logo. It is the one gripe purchasers often mention.
I work for a company that insures handsets and fulfills the claims. One of the big complaints for the reman iPhones when we did our marketing survey? That the reman box didn’t look just like the iPhone box (duh! They were our standard, company, reman box). It actually took us three spec changes to get something acceptable to the folks who where going to take the phone out of the box to use it anyway. :smack:
