Pirate Movies YAR!!!!

I seem to remember an adult film with a pirate motif called “Snatchbuckler” but I’m not sure that’s what the OP had in mind.

And there’s always the silly but ultimately entertaining old flick, “The Princess and the Pirate,” starring Bob Hope, Walter Brennan, Virginia Mayo and Victor McLaglen. I’d watch it just to see the old comic veterans Bob Hope and Walter Brennan interact.

And don’t forget the cartoon, Pirates of Darkwater. I’m pretty sure it’s even available on video. Waiting for the DVD if they ever do it, though.

To the above cited Errol Flynn movies I’ll add Master of Ballantrae, based ( pretty loosely I’ve heard ) on the Robert Louis Stevenson book. It’s about half pirate film, the other half being set in Scotland during the second Jacobite rebellion. Not quite primo Flynn, but still entertaining.
