Take your real world scrutiny, apply it to your “logic” about gun rights versus lives, and fuck all the way off.

But isn’t it rather silly to make a special point of calling out behavior you disapprove of in a forum that’s specifically set up as a space to engage in such behavior?
I mean, if you don’t like the type of behavior that the Pit is specifically for, you don’t have to read or post in Pit threads. But I don’t see the point of going into the Pit in order to scold people for being Pitty. That’s rather like going to a dance club to complain about the music being too loud.
(Note also that the post of mine you were responding to was specifically about a post complaining that aggressively rude behavior in the Pit didn’t get restrained by the moderators. That’s not a realistic expectation: mods don’t shut down aggressively rude behavior in the Pit unless it violates forum rules.)

What’s funny about it? If you really disapprove of the whole concept of Pit-style behavior “because it is rude, annoying, makes you look stupid, and is generally antisocial and dumb”, then you are free to abstain from any and all Pit threads whether or not they are nominally about you.
Remember, you don’t have to play a game you don’t like just because somebody invited you by name.
