No, you took a thread that was about separating the different types of bigotry and tried to hijack it into a thread about affirmative action. That was possibly a mistake. But then, when you were told this wasn’t that thread, you accused the OP of just stating platitudes. That’s an insult.
What’s more, you misstated the topic of the thread. It clearly wasn’t “systemic racist is bad.” It was a discussion about how the word “racist” can mean different things, and that often we create confusion by treating them as the same.
And now, of course, you’re telling people they need “emotional help”, i.e. shitting on people with mental illness. All in an attempt to cover for the fact that you decided to be an asshole.
Being polite doesn’t make something not an insult. Miss Manners is all about learning how to be insulting while superficially being polite. And that’s exactly what you were. You could have just said “sorry, I didn’t understand the topic of the thread,” but you had to get in a barb about how it was just “platitudes,” while misrepresenting what the thread was about.
Given that, it seems that your intentions in bringing up AA was probably the same as those who bring up trans athletics in trans threads. You wanted to steer the conversation. And when you failed, you decided to be deliberately irritating.

Yes, except literally none of the discussion that has happened has actually been about the narrow concept of differentiation between three closely related types of bad thing.
In fact some of the discussion has clearly been outside that frame, but I guess because an “evil conservative” wasn’t the one doing it you didn’t slur it by lying and saying it was an attempt to “hijack” and go crying in the pit about it.
