This is some funny shit. The liar was called out on his many lies, and now he’s making new lies to explain away his old lies. And if he expects anyone to believe his new lies, he’s lying to himself.
- I don’t believe you
- You specifically volunteered that information, again, information nobody asked for, in response to your credibility being questioned
You wanted to defend your credibility so you provided false information, which you now admit.
You can’t make this shit up, people.

You can’t make this shit up, people.
Well, @Martin_Hyde can. Apparently making shit up is his thing.
Like I said whether people believe things I say about myself is immaterial to almost anything I’ve ever posted here. Where it is material, I speak honestly–the vast majority of my posts don’t intersect with anything in which you need to know specifics about my life.

You wanted to defend your credibility so you provided false information, which you now admit.
What credibility are you talking about specifically here? In which post?
Seems more likely that you’re just a liar who makes shit up a lot.
There’s only one post linked in this thread where you mentioned who nominated you for the USMA. I’m sure you can find it.
And you are more than free to think that. As I said I don’t post here because I care about how my anonymous internet handle is perceived by a bunch of mentally ill socialists and degenerates.
Or maybe you do, and maybe now that your lies have been exposed, you’re flailing and lashing out.

And you are more than free to think that. As I said I don’t post here because I care about how my anonymous internet handle is perceived by a bunch of mentally ill socialists and degenerates.
You know, I almost like you and then you post this kind of shit. You really are a shitty person.
Fuck it, here it is spelled out for you.
By the way, if you have a problem with the 1st sentence of the post of mine that caused you to choke (I’m guessing you have some sort of condition that makes that happen) I’ll briefly explain to you the process which resulted in me being accepted at the USMA.
First, yes, you have to apply. Being accepted into the academy would mean your application was accepted.
I had a 3.9 GPA and extensive extracurricular activities, I was not surprised I was accepted because I had received an informatoin packet from the academy after inquiring about the admissions process which outlined the qualifications of the average successful applicant.
At that time I believe roughly 1/15 people who applied eventually were accepted, keeping in mind that while West Point has its own applications process you also need a nomination for the academy to have the legal authority to process your application.
My U.S. House of Representatives member at the time was William C. Wampler, his office maintained a separate address for West Point nominations and I had to fill out forms and applications for him.
My U.S. Senators at the time were William L. Scott and Harry F. Byrd, the process was fairly similar with those two. I understand at one time it was beneficial to have a personal connection of some sort with the congressman in question. By the time I was interested to my knowledge all congressional nominations were handled in a fairly routinized manner by the congressman’s office staff.
I was infomed the President and Vice President also get to nominate five people each year. However I did not send anything to the addresses provided for those two officeholders, the Vice Presidency in fact may have been vacant at the time.
My nomination was ultimately given to me by Harry Byrd.
Bolding mine. You started this post because someone didn’t believe you. This is all information you offered up to defend your credibility.
Pro-tip: making up information to seem credible is not how credibility works.
Again–I have the poster who made those posts ignored, I can’t see what he said. I don’t get the full context, but if it relates directly to something that could be used to personally identify me, it is unlikely I would intentionally post real data from my personal life. If information could not be used to identify me, I probably did not bother to obfuscate it, but I’m not going to go point by point as to what is and isn’t obfuscated–that defeats the purpose.
That gives it more context yes–I’ll note Zoe is one of the posters who used to try to doxx peple here regularly (I believe she is deceased now by the way.) I would never give her accurate personally identifying information as her schtick was well known in its time.
If you truly didn’t care, @Martin_Hyde, then you wouldn’t spend this time and effort defending yourself.
Obviously you care. You lied for years and now you’re caught, so you’re just piling on more lies to try and cover for it. But it’s obvious for all to see – you’re just another internet liar. Another internet liar to add onto the thousands of internet liars we’ve all seen, over and over, through the years.
I’m actually not. What a lot of people don’t realize is most of the people who post on these boards (especially in the pit) are actual shitty people. When the baseline is low, the community receives the disdain it deserves.

Again–that’s fine if you think that. I have nothing to defend, people spent a lot of time assuming I was “hiding” from a thread that I don’t check daily, and I responded to the allegations. I wouldn’t characterize any of my responses as defending myself, but simply explaining–I did not dissemble at all, I don’t share accurate personal information that can be used to tie something back to me in real life. But none of it is material to any conversations I participate in. I should note the very behavior in this thread is an example of why I was entirely rational to protect myself, I would have been doxxed had I not, by the same people posting here now.
It’d have been a lot easier to just not make that post than to lie, wouldn’t it? Nobody asked you to make that post.
Once again, the simple explanation “Martin is just another internet liar” seems a lot more likely than this convoluted explanation of why you made up specific bullshit about your life for years and years, even when it was irrelevant to a discussion (like the invented shit about being nominated to the USMA).

I’ll note Zoe is one of the posters who used to try to doxx peple here regularly
No she did not. She would try to prove that people were lying about themselves by pointing out inconsistencies. She never tried to find out their real life identities.
That back and forth with Zoe was from 2006, I would have likely just ignored her if it was in 2020 or even 2015. It would have been easier to have not responded. Because I was directly responding to someone well known to me for trying to doxx other posters, it created a difficult situation for me that is not typical of most of my interactions here. The subject matter was actually my personal history (which is not typically germane to a post, but because Zoe was attempting to doxx me it was.) As it is, for reasons I have already explained I won’t go into, I chose Virginia as my fake State of residence / birth because I have significant knowledge of it, such that I do not have to try very hard to speak about the State or its history. In that specific thread I did not have to look up any previous elected officials in Virginia, I knew who they were already which is why it is convenient when obfuscating your State to use a State you know well.
