Let me just remind folks that Dodgy Dude is the same poster as @A_Dodgy_Dude. Note that A Dodgy Dude last posted (and visited) the board on June 9, 2020. Dodgy Dude joined the board exactly one month later. They post the exact same stuff… Also, Dodgy Dude’s “name” (what you can put in your name field for your account here) is literally “A Dodgy Dude”, same as the older account. I don’t even think this is technically socking, my guess is that it was lost access from the old account, and they created a new account with practically the same name. (A number of people have done this, especially when we moved to Discourse.) So if you want the full body of work for this poster (going back to 2008, a year before I joined) you’ll have to look at the old account too.
Anyway, this was brought to my attention with yet another thread created inappropriately. Actually, the thread itself isn’t bad, I even posted in it because it’s interesting, but the thread name has nothing to do with what the thread is about. You’d think they’d know better after posting here for 15 years.
(The thread is called “Kelly’s Heroes and Die Hard with a Vengance” and was posted in Cafe Society, even though it’s a thread about what you’d do with a bar of gold bullion and has nothing to do with either film.)
