I noticed the current thread but haven’t read it yet. If it’s like the other’s, then he did read something on biology, but it was on a website that he claims he can no longer find, what he can remember doesn’t make sense and when pressed for more details, some of the wording he uses will be directly from sites that are, at best, pseudoscience.
He cited a couple of websites. Reputable ones, at that.
They (naturally) did not say what he thought they said
Not exactly. He asked an AI bot, and when questioned, copied the bot’s link to the source without reading the source.
This leads to hilarious assertions. The main premise of his idiotic hypothesis was from a quiz where it was one of the wrong answers. The bot took it as a fact, and HB ran with it.
Seriously?
Oh well.
Lamarckism needs better champions. Or doesn’t. Either way, deep thoughts you have while stoned should be reviewed while sober.
Hey shit cum for brains,
Ya really think longing for the days of Jim Crow and segregation gets a pass because it’s a system of oppression and not an anyone?
In his latest MPSIMS thread he ignores doctors and self-diagnoses as having Tardive Dyskinesia, then gives a bunch of cite-less “facts”.
And I got exactly the answer I assumed I’d get.
Can we safely assume you don’t have a cite for anything you mentioned in your OP? Even though you found this info on the internet, I’m guessing you’re not able to actually present any of it to us, right?
No cites, just casual reading and surfing the net for related topics.
I even picked out some specific claims he made that I’d like to read for myself. He refused, I’m out. This is going to play out exactly like his other medical threads.
On top of all that, I’m not sure what he’s looking for in that thread. He didn’t actually ask any questions, just made a bunch of claims that, if I had to guess, came from some pseudo-science sites or whatever google’s AI is showing him.
And now he’s just rambling about his wardrobe and how he might change his social environment. Maybe he really has a tumor that affects his mind, like his doc suggested. Which would be a sad thing and and a reason not to make fun of him.
I love that when he talks about the medication he’s regularly taking, he says THC. Which knowing him probably just means he’s getting high constantly. That’s the level of discourse you’re dealing with.
It’s been my observation that Mr. Badger sees himself as a bit of an inventor. I’m pretty sure that’s what he means when he talks about being philosophical- thinking “outside the box” to solve problems or improve situations.
I think he’s approaching this physical condition that he has - a twitching in his face - from that perspective; can he figure out a way to beat it, that perhaps nobody else has considered?
I, personally, think that’s a bit delusional - he’s not reasonably likely to conjure up some solution that the established medical community hasn’t already considered. But, from the perspective of self-analysis, I don’t think it’s completely hopeless; maybe he can talk himself out of any psychosomatic afflictions he might be experiencing.
I started some PT that “probably won’t help”, but then my wife noted that I’m very susceptible to placebo effects. I said “Well, that’s how powerful my mind is!”
So, in honor of Honeybadger, I’ll let him print up what I was going to: a diploma from an (in)famous med school…

I think the twitching muscles signify that his body has had enough and it’s trying to escape his stupid, stupid brain.
Has he had said tumour for his entire time here? Because he’s always been like that.
Yeah, for his whole tenure, I see Honeybadger’s name and immediately think “Okay, here comes some homemade science.”
On one side you have a few people who actually are genuine iconoclasts, causing the rest of us to think on our fundamental beliefs and assumptions. On the other hand, the vast, vast majority of self-declared iconoclasts are rather dim-witted.
I’m sure I had a reason for posting that to this thread but it eludes me at the moment.
To quote the late lamented Carl Segan
They laughed at Columbus, they laughed at Fulton, they laughed at the Wright brothers. But they also laughed at Bozo the Clown.
Carl Sagan, not Segan.
Well Carl Segan said it too. ![]()
Probably lifted it.
If anyone wonders if that’s a legitimate Sagan quote, it is. It’s from a collection of essays he wrote that was published as the book, Broca’s Brain: Reflections on the Romance of Science.
