Pretty much every time a person is pitted, and they come to their own thread, that’s what happens.
Except in the rare case that the person who starts the thread is the real asshat and it all backfires.
I think that it’s more a matter that the dunk person is doing the hitting, and you are much more likely to survive a front end crash than being T-boned.

Max is a sealion. I’m not sure if he’s doing it consciously - that would require some awareness of self and others, which doesn’t appear to be in evidence. But whether it’s intentional or not, the effect is the same.
It’s the living archetype of the “well, actually” guy, played out with endless exhausting repetition. I’ve found there’s zero point in engaging.

No, I don’t see that at all. He might be annoying when he persists with transparently stupid ideas, but sealioning involves fake sincerity. @Max_S is certainly not saying anything in bad faith.
