Places to EAT in Cancun

Mind you, I didn’t say dine, I said EAT. Heading to Cancun this weekend and looking for the dives, the hole-in-the-wall places, that turn out to be absolutely wonderful. Good food and friendly people. Off the beaten path is ok too.

I’ve made many trips down there and know all the fancy schmancy places to go, but it’s the little places we like best. Any suggestions?

If you like the little places, i guess you already know that eating anywhere on the strip is asking to be ripped off.

We loved a place called Gory Tacos. Fantastic name, good food, the best margaritas. Served in glasses that look like someone has welded a stem onto a goldfish bowl.

Trouble is, I can’t remember the address. It was in “The Rough Guide” though.
