Do any of you know of a particulaly funky version that has been recorded of the song Amazing Grace? If so, who recorded it. I’ve searched the web but couldn’t find any information. I do think Al Green made a good cut of this song but can’t think of anyone else. Anyone got any answers for me? thanks…
Hubert Laws recorded a good instrumental jazz version. That’s all I can think of right now.
Depends on what you mean by “funky”. The Lemonheads did a good punk/hardcore version of it years ago.
