While persuing my music collection the other day, I noticed several instances where the last word in one song title was also the first in another. Try to add to the link without causing a dead end (song titles only!):
“Dancing in the Moonlight” - King Harvest
“Moonlight Feels Right” - Starbuck
“Right Back Where We Started From” - Maxine Nightingale
“From Me to You” - Beatles
your turn…
I believe you’re supposed to find a song title that starts with what the previous title ended. After pesch’s title, “Sally in our Alley”, you would want to find a title that begins with “Alley”.
Ya know, Alley Oop doesn’t have to be a sequence breaker, if you all are OK with a little leeway on spelling…I mean as long as it’s pronounced the same, why not continue with:
Ooh Poo Pah Doo - Ike & Tina Turner
Do Wakka Do - Roger Miller
Do You Really Want To Hurt Me - Culture Club
Me Without You - Andy Gibb (these don’t have to be in your own record collection do they?)
You Don’t Know How It Feels - Tom Petty
Feels So Good - Van Halen
Good Lovin’ - The Young Rascals
Lovin’ Every Minute Of It - Loverboy
It Keeps You Runnin’ - The Doobie Brothers
Runnin’ Down A Dream - Tom Petty
Dream On - Aerosmith
On And On - Stephen Bishop
On A Clear Day You Can See Forever - Tony Bennet
Forever Man - Eric Clapton
Man On The Moon - REM
Moon Shadow - Cat Stevens
Shadow(s) Of The Night - Pat Benatar . . . If the ‘s’ breaks the rules, then:
Shadow Dancing - Andy Gibb . . . Someone pick one and take it from here.
Again Tonight - John Mellencamp
Tonight I’ll Celebrate Our Love - roberta flack or somebody
Love Hurts - Nazereth
Hurts So Good - John Mellencamp
Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy - Queen
Boy Blue - ELO
Blue Monday - New Order (not the crappy version by Orgy)
Monday, Monday - The Mamas and the Papas
Monday Morning - Fleetwood Mac
Morning Has Broken - Cat Stevens
oh, I cursed like a prospector because I got only 1 song and was immediately stuck on arrow, not because I got beat, although I did. I’m even more stuck at blossoms though so alas, I cannot redeem myself, sigh
“Save All Your Love” from Great White
“Love You More” from King Missle
“More Than Words Can Say” from Alias
“Say, Say, Say” from Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney
“Say You, Say Me” from Lionel Ritchie
And
“Hard Habit to Break” from Chicago
“Break On Through” from The Doors (I know, its parenthetical title was “Break On Through (to the Other Side).” Tough )
“Through the Long Night” from Billy Joel
“Night Train” from The Ventures
“Train Kept a Rollin” by I can’t remember who (I’m doing this off the top of my head)
Onion was a tough one to end on, but how about:
