Playing Splinter Cell a second time is brill. (proud moments in computer games)

As I am playing the game a second time I can be bolder (as I know the layout and the ‘surprises’ of the missions)

First time round I was very careful, taking things one step at a time, offing soldiers one by one, each one in secret and darkness. This time round it’s guns blazing, bursting into rooms SAS style, killing or disabling 4 or 5 soldiers at once! (with a hint of method left in for self-preservation)

With a full load of ‘stickyshockers’ in my EF2000 I just disabled two special forces men and two high ranking officers… In complete silence… In less than 5 seconds! It was like a scene right out of a Steven Seagal movie! Barge in, stickyshock special-forces man 1, roll-dive behind the banister, stickyshock the two officers who’ve just ran up the stairs, swing the barrel round to the far corner of the room, stickyshock the remaining special forces guy, bask in the moment of silent lucidity in a suddenly lifeless room.

So, what are your proudest moments in your favourite computer games?

First of all, I love Splinter Cell, and I know what you mean by being bolder the 2nd time around. I would say by far the biggest joy I’ve had the 2nd time around in a game, was Halo. I used to go through on the wimpy mode and act cool, but then I realised hey, I’m better than this, I can go kick ass in the harder modes. Well fast forward a couple of weeks later, and I am the Halo master, beating the entire game on Legendary BY MYSELF!
