Playing Windows only game on a Mac

I am trying to play an online game by the name of Mankind on my Mac. The requirements include having a newer version of windows and a directx graphics card version 9 or more recent. I have already downloaded the parallel windows. Using the windows Internet explorer I downloaded and installed the game. I used the launcher but get an error message saying directx could not be initialized. I tried looking for solutions. One YouTube video showed someone downloading a driver from nvidia. I did that, but when I tried to install the driver it said their was no compatible hardware detected. To play on my Mac will I have to buy an actual card and open up the box? Or am I just out of luck? Thanks for any answers. Please move to Game Room if appropriate.

Although you say you downloaded the parallel windows, I’m unclear what OS you are using in Parallels.

Obviously it’s some version of Windows as you are using internet Explorer, but which one?

The DirectX 9 capability depends on the installed graphics hardware. I believe most modern Macs, such as you must have to run Windows, have capable video hardware. I think you can check what graphics card you have in the Mac from sites like this one.

Thanks for the link. I think it might help. The OS on windows that I’m running is windows 7.
