I’ve seen some described as 15/20, 100/20, etc.
What exactly do the ratings mean?

At 20/20 your vision is normal and you see at 20ft what others see at 20ft.
20/40----you see at 20ft what others see at 40ft---------your vision is at half-normal.
20/60 -----now you’re in real trouble!
20/100--------legally blind.
40/20------the opposite of 20/40------you’re a hawk -------etc.
