Thanks, Jim!
I stink like a Calcutta sewer.
Ooh, yay - I’ve been waiting for an opportunity like this! For those who haven’t already got it, I thought I’d try to pick something in keeping with the character of the message board (and myself). Curiosity killed the cat, so here I am. I’m not a fan of roadkill or animal cruelty or anything like that!
Back when I was thirteen years old and going through my angst-goth stage, my friend Elise mentioned that I really needed a more badass name than “Rachel”. Roshia, we decided, was a much more fitting name for the MIGHTY FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH that I saw myself as at the time, and so a new nickname was born. These days, I’m about the perkiest little perky thing you’ll ever meet, but I still think it’s really cool that I had a name made up in my honor. So Roshia it is.
Awe, man! And I was hoping it was “Quantum Electro-Dynamics” [ ]
Citizen Bob was my radio handle, given to me by Rev. Flounder.
When I was first broadcasting, I was doing this silly 40’s voice and he said it reminded him of Orson Wells… and my name is Bob.
Citizen Bob
Mine is a holdover from the days of when AOL was around 15$ a month. Either AOL or some BBS at the time gave you a user name of your first initial plus your last name (in my case it spelled my last name wrong). And I have used it on so many BBS and message boards since then that it’s what I use if it isn’t already being used.
According to an old TV show it stands for Quentin Everhart Deveroe (spelling?)

I tell my cat that all the time…
My favorite cartoon character is Goofy. I used that name for awhile, but then after working in Disney World in college, a coworker began calling me “Goof Troop” because he thought I was really weird. So the name kind of stuck with me and I tacked on the “Ag” for Texas A&M Aggies, hence “Gooftroopag.”
Isn’t it obvious?
You mean your part of the band?
