I’ve come across retrogenes on this board, being considered one of the best if not the best evidence in favour of evolution. I’ve read a bit about them but I don’t quite get why they are such a good proof of evolution. I don’t know if this is because the literature about them is quite advanced or because I’m thick, but I’d really appreciate a crash course.
