Please help identify this film

For a long time, I have been trying to identify a film that I saw only snippets of, about fifteen years ago.

From what I saw and remember, the film is a British production, set in the UK, and is about a pair of identical twin sisters. The girls seem to be around eighteen or nineteen years old, are of African descent (?Jamaican), and are, I think, criminally insane. It had the feel of a documentary, but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t.

The reason that I am more than curious to find out just what movie this is, is because it seemed very creepy, very eerie and would probably be worth seeing in its entirety.

Any ideas?

It must be Silent Twins even though the IMDB link provides almost no information. I say this because searching on “silent twins” yields this book which is clearly what I was remembering (sounds like a good book too!).

It’s also interesting to me that I was off by 50% in my estimate as to when I saw it (I grow old, I grow old …)
