Usually I can always find anything on IMDB but I don’t have anything to go on with this one. It was a small, independent, very ‘artsy’ little film made, I think, in the 90s about a pair of identical, conjoined twin brothers visiting the city for their birthday.
Somehow (I missed the begining) they hook up with a classic ‘hooker with a heart of gold’ character who helps them out. In the end one of the twins gets sick and dies and that’s sort of a mixed blessing because now the surviving brother is separated from him physically but, of course, also emotionally.
I think the twin brothers starring in it (they weren’t really conjoined) also wrote & directed it?
And here’s the IMDb page on it. Sounds very interesting.
I knew it wouldn’t take long! Yes, that’s the film. Thanks.
And it was a neat little film.
Shot by M. David Mullen, a good friend and mentor of mine.
I love that movie.
I too love that movie. Very touching story.
That one was on a list of “Best Unknown Movies of the 90’s” that a coworker at the movie theater gave to me. Man he knew how to pick 'em. He’s writing reviews for some paper in Las Vegas, now.
“Do you hear the train?..”
I dig that movie a lot, but I was never under the impression that the woman was a prostitute. Maybe she once was, but not anymore. Am I mistaken?
Oh, and in case anyone hasn’t realized it yet, conjoined twins must be identical.
Think about it.
