This started with a reference to Ann B. Davis (Alice on the Brady Bunch) who had a twin sister. Many twins were cast as children because of child labor laws limiting their time on set. Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen are a well known example. But there are plenty more. Ashton Kutcher has a twin brother who does not act but works in the industry. Jill Hennesy from Law&Order has a twin sister who acts. Both appeared together in the movie Dead Ringers and one time Jacqueline stood in for sister Jill in a scene on Law&Order.
Linda Hamilton had a twin sister, Leslie who doubled her for stunts and some of the practical effects in Terminator 2, specifically the mirror effect and when the T-1000 impersonates her in the factory.
We had a very similar thread last year that’s probably going to have some of the examples from this thread (including the Ashmores, who I mentioned in that thread):
The contribution I want to make is Enver Gjokaj, a very prominent actor that I first was aware of from his major role in the TV show Dollhouse.
He has an identical twin brother named Demir. In one episode of Dollhouse, his twin brother was a guest star in a dream sequence.
Demir’s only credit in IMDB aside from that guest role was as himself on an episode of the reality show The Legend of Shelby the Swamp Man.
Sadly, one of those twin boys (Sawyer Sweeten) took his own life at the age of 19.
I know that Jacqueline Hennessy used to be a writer for the Canadian magazine Chatelaine (the U.S. equivalent would be Redbook or something like that).
As mentioned in the other thread, Conrad Bain (Diff’rent Strokes) had a brother Bonar Bain who did some acting (including on a memorable episode of SCTV).
An obscure one. I was a fan on the tv series Tour of Duty back in the eighties (at least the first season). One of the supporting characters was Private Scott Baker, played by Eric Bruskotter. In one episode Baker’s twin brother appears, played by Eric’s twin brother, Karl Bruskotter.
Duane and Darryl Hickman. Duane starred in The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis; Darryl appeared with him. Later, Darryl starred in The Americans.
Jason London was originally cast as Nathan Bedford Forrest in the show I’ll Fly Away, but got a movie offer and left. His identical twin brother Jeremy London took over the part. Years later, when they did a TV film wrapping up the series, Jeremy was unavailable – appearing in Party of Five – so Jason played the role.
Similarly, Nicholas Brendon’s identical twin brother Kelly Donovan appeared in the Buffy episode “The Replacement,” in which Brendon’s character Xander was split into two people. Including that episode, Kelly has a total of 5 acting credits, at least one of which is “extra.”
