Please Help Me Find These CBC Clips

I’ve been trying to find three clips from old CBC radio and TV but I’ve had no luck. I’m hoping someone with better skills than I have can help.

  1. A serious panel discussion about irony. I know it didn’t air before 1994. It may have been “The death of irony” or “the death of Canadian irony.” It was definitely a morning show and likely Gzowski. CBC radio

  2. A satirical response to that discussion having to do with the state of Canadian ironing. It would have aired the same week as clip one and was on the Saturday morning. CBC radio

  3. A Rick Mercer rant from This Hour Has 22 Minutes regarding the use of Bob Dylan’s The Times They Are A Changing in an ad campaign announcing the change of brand from “Bank of Montreal” to “BMO”. CBC TV

I recall clip one as being an accidentally hilarious exercise in mining navels for the greatest wealth of pretention. Clip two was the most perfect take on it possible. Clip three was one of Mercer’s best and was brutally on-point.

Thanks.

I don’t remember Gzowski doing panel discussions. I daresay you’ll probably never find 1) and will definitely never find 2).

Found the Bob Dylan Commerical in question, which dates the BMO name change to autumn 1996, so you’d be looking for episodes from Season 4.
