On the net, there was a game where you played as a planet, eating meteors and other planets as you grow, while avoiding suns. Where is it?

I don’t remember the name of it. You started out as a little planet, and got bigger by bumping into and absorbing smaller planets. The goal was to eat all the matter in the box and get as large as possible. It was a slow paced, relaxing game.

No. The game I was talking about was much slower paced. It took a few minutes to accelerate or change direction, and propelling yourself made some of your mass shoot out the back (and it would eventually have to be recaptured to get max size).
There was a bar at the top of the screen showing your current size, and a mini-map showing the entire playfield and location of the bigger spheres.

I don’t know the game you’re referring to, but it sounds like a slightly more complicated version of Fishy, which you may enjoy if you don’t know it already. It’s relatively easy to win, but quite fun and relaxing once you get used to it…
