I was in the supermarket the other day and fell victim to a pop song playing over the PA.
It was a medium tempo song, and the vocalist sounded like Janet Jackson. The lyrics I remember are like “only thing that’s missing is YOU” and when she sings “YOU” then a chorus of like-sounding singers starts in with “Yeah, yeah, yeah” and then the lead vocal starts singing on top of that. It had a Jackson-like lush vocal production quality to it. Any ideas?
