Ok, AFAIK, it’s somewhat a ‘standard’ of classical music in the way that the Moonlight Sonata or Canon in D are (ie. they get played very often-- particularly in soundtracks). It’s played in part in the song “Return to Forever” by Teebee and Amp and I think, if memory serves me, that it’s in the movie Amélie. Sorry I can’t be more of help.
