Somehow I downloaded a song a long time ago . It’s called: “Built To Spill, Modest Mouse, Rentals.” That is what is was called. No title, just a cryptic trio of band names.
Clearly this song has no connection to any of those bands, and I have no idea what the title is supposed to mean. I want to know the name of this song, and who sings it. Google searches reveal ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I absolutely love this song - it sounds like some incredibly awesome version of Weezer. It’s so mysterious…I can’t find out anything about it. It’s like the phantom song.
I think it might be called “Ms. Satan” just because of the way that phrase keeps getting repeated. I’ve done exhaustive searches of all of the phrases in the lyrics and nothing comes up except one other person (only ONE!) on a Ben Folds message board who is also trying to figure out what the song is called.
I posted the lyrics, in their entirety, here - I don’t think it’s a violation of any kind of intellectual property laws because this song is clearly so obscure. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Man, I really want someone to tell me who does this song. I desperately want to know more about this enigma, and listen to more of this band’s music.
