Please Help Me With This Work Situation!

Good luck! +1

By all means enlighten us. I know quite a few doctors and not one of them gets paid in relation to his/her education level and the hours put in. In my area obstetricians are getting insured out of existence. My family doctor of over 40 years has not retired yet.

You know the doctors **Alice ** works for? If they are as she has portrayed them, it’s fair. Besides, rich old white men are responsible for the financial mess the whole world is in - I don’t plan to go easy on them any time soon. They have a lot to answer for.

I’ve been in several situations where my bosses/employers didn’t want to let me go, but weren’t willing to do what it would have taken to keep me. In at least one case, the backlash pretty much cost him his career.

Stupidity sucks, but it’s not your responsability to make your employers grow brains.

Ah, “those people”. Got it. nuff said.

I go in tomorrow morning for a second interview and to meet the PA I’d be working for if I were hired. I saw his pamphlet and holy cow he is frakking HOT. I could handle working with that all day, lemme tell ya. I’m pretty sure I will take it if offered, and I’ve never had an interview where I wasn’t offered the job. So, prematurely, woohoo!

One bad thing about leaving is that I’m invested, and with stocks down, I probably won’t get anything back. One good thing is that I will have my own desk, phone, and computer, whereas here I walk and stand all day (varicose veins!). The new place is very huge, tons of people work there, and it’s new and shiny. They do a lot more cosmetic work than my current job, which is a negative for me because I’d rather do clinical dermatology than cosmetic, but oh well. It will be a big change for m if it happens. I think I’ll go ahead and read that cheese book.

Here’s hoping you get what you want and it turns out to be the best thing ever!
