I have searched the FAQ, archived posts, even did a Google search, but I can’t figure out what Guest-MMP means. I don’t even know what a Member-MMP would be,.

Monday Morning Post. One of our posters (the name escapes me at the moment, I want to say Rue de Day or something like that) used to do a rambling thread every Monday morning. I don’t know why he or she isn’t doing them anymore, but others have been stepping up to continue the tradition.
I never, ever, ever would have guessed that on my own.

Rue de Day is the acknowledged originator of the MMP. However, he is no longer a stay-at-home dad, so he hasn’t been able to do his traditional MMP. Those of us who are his groupies are keeping the MMP alive by taking turns starting it out, hence Guest MMP. Perhaps one day, Rue will get motivated enough to awaken in the wee dark hours of Monday morning and do his posts again. In the meantime, we keep it going. Join us - it’s fun! Instead of a bajillion additional mundane threads, we concentrate our mundanity in one thread.
The MMP specializes in hijacks, TMI posts (with a weekly award!), ramblin’ on and on about whatever and, if we’re lucky, there will be Chinese fortune cookie fortunes to <snerk> at as well as pee, poop and puke comments and/or jokes. Fun for the whole family!
FairyChatMom is correct, however one need not be a groupie to join in. We’ll will be happy to corrupt…errr I mean entertain anyone who wanders in off the street… Well, you know what I mean.
Indeed there are regulars, and many casuals, but it truely is the more the merrier.
Rue de Day is quite a creative writer, so his posts are usually very entertaining.
The people who have stepped in to fill the void have large shoes to fill, but so far have done the job admirably.
