…sort of. For example, that pseudo-violin lick in the beginning ain’t Pachelbel. But it’s close enough for horseshoes and hiphop.
As a bassist, I fully support the above rant.
It never ceases to amaze me that the version our quartet plays lasts only 57 measures. If you had asked me, I would have estimated that I repeated that 8 note/2 measure phrase AT LEAST twice as many times.
