Please identify this product...can't think of name

I’m looking for a really geeky but practical thing, but can’t think of what to put in google or ebay.

It is basically a two-wheel pullcart with hooked branches that let you hook a lot of grocery bags and wheel them down the street.

Anyone know what it is called?

Bizarre. My girlfriends mother asked for something like that as well, a few days back. This is the best I could do. .

I need the wheeled version - my grocery store is too close to take the car, but too far to carry 97 grocery bags.

I don’t remember where I saw it - maybe Hammacher Schlemmer or Brookstone…or a grocery store - it’s been a few years.

You know I should really think through things before I ask a question here

Geez, I used to work in a grocery store and saw these all the time, but the one I remember didn’t have hooks. It was a wire frame basket that could hold 4-6 real (that is, paper) full sized grocery bags. I have no idea what they were called, though.

Try this link and scroll down to “Cutting the Clutter” and look at the second cart picture.

Is this it?

Mr. Blue Sky:

2nd pic is what I remember as a kid of about 11 (mid to late 50’s)in Queens, NY. Made many a trip to Bohacks or the A&P with one in tow. Don’t remember ever calling them anything except possibly cart or grocery cart. I agree about the hooks, they had none.

You can probably call it anything you like, sethdallob.
Does this oxygen cart resemble what you are thinking of?

I know exactly what you are talking about.

I get catalogs such as Hammacher Schlamer (sp?), Harrington and Front Gate and I saw one in there once.

I wish I could remember which catalog.
you may try those sources.

I will keep an eye out for you.

might this help?

this is the one I saw:

Why is the bunch of hooks on wheels better than a grannie grocery cart? The carts are more versatile- you can move a lot of non-groceries, too.

PC

it folds down into a much smaller unit?
