This is Brownie, one of three feral kittens that we adopted several years ago. She’s all grown up now, but when I look at her I still see that little fluffball that liked to snooze next to my keyboard.

These three kittens were found by my wife. They were left in a box in a shopping cart out in the rain one (warmer-than-usual) winter afternoon when she heard them mewling from within. She brought them home and we proceeded over the course of the next week to find three good homes for them all.

Naturally, that presented opportunities for some squeeable photo ops.
