although it’s not life or death. a friend on FB had unfriended somebody because he is harassing her—but he just sent her a PM! how could he do that? how can she get rid of him?
She needs to block him. He won’t be able to contact her then.
She has to use the “block” feature- then to that person (and to her) it is like neither even exists on FB.
She needs to click on the little “down” arrow at the top of the page…click on “Settings”, click on “blocking”. Then add his name where it says “blocked users”. then click “Block”
He will then not be able to see any of her posts, or her FB page. He will also not be able to message her.

- Ignore him.
- Close her Facebook account.
- Turn off all communication devices and rejoin the human race.

I’ve got about 30 Facebook “friends” and I’ve blocked almost half of them. No abuse, just glurge and politics.
