For some reason even though I got an error message wen posing these before, it appeared, but without text in the main body)

I’ve just been reading Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat . I managed to get to the last few pages, after the concert.
Lestat, Louis and Gabrielle are being chased by the other vampires.

Now I have lost the book; I don’t want to buy it again to read a couple of pages, and the local library has no copies, so could someone who has read it tell me what happens next?
