I received an E-mail from a coworker telling me she is taking part in a Walk-A-Thon for the Make A Wish Foundation. I’ve asked permission for making a post here and permission was granted (thus this post)
Below is the E-mail she sent out. I did not edit it except to remove her name.
Hi all,
I will be walking for wishes again this year on September 19th in Manasquan at Stockton Lake Park in order to Make A Wish come true for a NJ child who deserves it. I will be walking with TEAM GREEN!
The Make A Wish Foundation allows children, who have or are suffering from a terrible illness, to make a wish and they try to grant it.
Sometimes a wish is for a pool, a pet, or to meet someone, others wish for a trip to a certain place, but what ever there wish is, it should never be considered to big so I will walk every year to help make the dreams of young ones come true!
The Foundation asks for each walker to raise $125 to contribute to the Foundation, if anyone is interested in contributing I will be collecting until 9/17/09.

Thank you all in advance. As most of you are aware this Foundation is dear to me due to a past experience with a family member and all of your support is greatly appreciated!
