Please US government, don't deport my boyfriend!

My apologies if this is the wrong forum – I wasn’t sure if this belonged in MPSIMS or the BBQ Pit. Since I’m not chewing anyone out, exactly, I decided on MPSIMS.

My boyfriend was asked to report for an INS interview from January 13 through February 21. He’s been getting all his paperwork and his college documentation together to show the immigration officials that he’s not only attending class and paying his dues, he’s also legal. I’m petrified something will go wrong and he’ll be sent back to Pakistan. I think I’m more upset about this than he is. He’s cool and collected, and I’m a wreck. I know I don’t have anything to worry about, really – he’s in the country legally, he’s definitely not a terrorist, he has a record so clean you can see your face in it – but I’m still irrationally terrified that he’ll be sent away and there’s not a damn thing I can do to help him.

Please United States government, don’t deport my boyfriend!

.:Nichol:.

It doesn’t sound like you have anything to worry about, honey, but I understand since I am a world class worrier myself.

Best of good luck to you both, and I will send a prayer or six your way.

My Love,

Cheri

Good luck, NC.

Good luck!

If anything goes wrong, God forbid, please post here…I will probably have some constructive advice to offer.

Best luck to your boyfriend. I’m sure he won’t need it, though.

I’m currently in the process of immigrating to the US from Canada. Funny, they haven’t bothered me a bit. Yay, K-1!

Don’t stress too much about it. The INS LIVES to see people sweat. My wife and I have been dealing with them for several years. They’re bastards, but if your boy’s clean there should be no problem.
