I think it might be Final Destination 2, can anybody confirm?
Might have been one of the Final Destination movies.
ETA: Well, aren’t I helpful?
Final…nevermind
Yep, that’s the movie.
Final Destination 2, IIRC
Yup
The main premise in FD is that a lead character thwarts Death by averting or avoiding a high-body-count event.
In FD 1, the event was a plane crash.
In FD 2, the even is a multi-car pile-up, including a log-truck spilling logs onto the highway in some high density, high speed traffic. One of the logs “impales” a patrol car, head-on, and the log obliterates the driver’s head.
In FD 3, the event is a roller-coaster accident.
One can only imagine the fun in hand for an inevitable FD 4. The series is tapped out, and overripe for some seriously awful low budget SciFi channel grade crapfests.
No, seriously? Who’s the protagonist, Shaggy?
The lead in FD 3 is Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who also plays a supporting role in Death Proof.
A co-lead both FD1 and FD 2 is Ali Larter, who now plays in Heroes.
The chick from Sky High and Die Hard 4 as an extremely uptight teen. I was bored and recognized her, so I picked it up. The budget keeps shrinking for those things. The first had explosions, next car wrecks, and now a wonky carnival ride whose malfunction is barely shown on-screen. I figure the next iteration will be bad shellfish.
“Oh my god, I just realized that the reason we didn’t die was because I got drunk, puked in the bucket at the clam bake, and no one wanted to eat them after that!”
