I have some Italian Prune Plums and want to make some plum sauce, like the kind you get in a Chinese restaurant. I would like it to be mildly spicy and very smooth. Any good recipes? I’ve looked through all my cookbooks, and I have many, many, many cookbooks; I’ve looked online but found only 2 that were suitable. I’m hoping there is a secret family recipe that someone would like to share secretly on the internet . . .
