Hi Payne… Cant say I know much about South east Idaho. Most of the people I know there usually come down here to Utah to do ANYTHING! I have family up there buuuuuuuuuuuuut… well we won’t go there! Gimme a yell if you come south tho …
sorry, I am a blonde wannabee this afternoon… I meant Hi etgaw1…
Paddle, ski, paddle, ski, paddle, ski . . . .
No money in Pocotello?
No problem lad, you are in God’s very own country.
Hie thee down to the local library and look up a hot springs book. That’ll keep you busy for some time.
What are your interests?
bare - I like to be outside, and I will do anything. I can tell i am in God’s country it is beautiful. i just don’t know anybody or have anything to do.
Aw, that’s OK, toshi, I’m from UT originally (Happy Valley), so I know The Truth About Idaho. Where in UT are you?
I am in Ogden!
Hi etgaw1!
I live 24 miles north of you in Blackfoot. I am a transplanted Californian, and I feel your pain. We go to Pocatello or Idaho falls for fun which usually ends up being dinner and a movie 'cuz there’s not really very much to do around here on the cheapside. You can check out ISU. Maybe there’s some fun little activity going on at the Minidome or some of the hotels get oldie bands to play in the bars. You can visit Craters of the Moon, Yellowstone Park, Henry’s Lake, or Jackson Hole, all within about a 21/2 hour drive. Oh yeah, there’s also Heise hot springs and Palasaides to visit. The weather is starting to turn cold now so if you ski you have plenty of places to try out. Unfortunately none of this is free. You can always go to the mall and sit in the food court and watch TV but they turn down the sound or you could walk around the Walmart supercenter and try to figure out why they stock so many crawfish parts in frozen foods. I just remembered that there are several organizations putting on haunted houses, forests, mills, and such, along with all those damn corn mazes. In Rigby there is a new gocart track and mini golf fun center. If your looking for excitement, every once in awhile something burns down.
