Pointless word games---anybody wanna play?

I,m thinking of a common, 9-letter English word that contains only 1 vowel. (That’s 1 vowel and 8 consonants, not multiple occurences of the same vowel).

Can you guess what it is?
Can you think of one with more than 9 letters and only 1 vowel?

Any more pointless word games?

How about “strengths”?

Strengths

Great minds think alike and at the same time.

How about “strengths?”

Oh.

Damn! That was too easy.
Okay, can anybody think of another one?

I think it was easy because it’s well known. how about a word with 6 non-repeating consonants in a row?

rhythm

Um, the second H in “rhythm” is from the alphabet of Pluto so it doesn’t count as repeating. Yeah, that’s it.

Inchstrap!

It’s uh…another word for “tape measure”…um, where I’m from.

How about a 15 letter word with every vowel, including “y”?

abstemiously (okay, that’s only 12…still working on it)

missbunny- remember that 80’s song? a, e, i, o, u, and sometimes y? such is the case for vowels. the second h is okay, as it is not right after the first.

Well, “facetiously” only has 11 letters, and all the vowels are in order (including ‘y’).

uncopyrightable.

Can you think of a plural word that becomes singular when you add an “s”?

Does cacti - cactus count as becoming singular by adding the letter “s”?

Does the “s” have to be added at the end of the word? Or can it be added anywhere in the word?

educationally

Nuts, it only has 13…

What are the 3 words that end in -gry?
