Not sure what other thread you’re talking about, but the title of this thread is not at all misleading. It reflects precisely what is in the article quoted by the OP.

Then why did you take exception to the thread title? What, in your opinion, is the difference between “a Polish government appointee” taking an action as part of her official duties, and “the Polish government” taking that action?

Well, the comment about reading comprehension bit was sort of tongue in cheek anyway.
My point was that this lady was appointed to a position as a children’s entertainment watchdog, and she’s taken it on herself to go after the Teletubbies thing. It’s not as though some high order came down from top state officials in the Polish government to her desk that she needed to start investingating possible homosexual undertones in the Teletubbies program.
There’s a bit of a difference.
So if the thread title had said “Top state officials in the Polish government undertake to probe if Teletubbies are gay”, you’d be quite right to complain that the title was misleading.
But since the thread title as it stands represents exactly what the linked news article said, I don’t think you’ve got a valid criticism here.
So much is made of a televsion character. You’d think he/she was running around trying to get a date with everything that moved.
