Polish speaking Dopers - help with a simple phrase

Someone in Poland keeps calling my mobile, and speaks no English. Telling her ‘Wrong number’ in Russian seemed to kind of work, because she then said ‘Thank you’ (in Polish). But she keeps calling.

I’m a little fretted that she’s trying to get in touch with someone and doesn’t quite realized she has a wrong number. I want to send her an SMS saying ‘You are calling a U.K. number. It is not the number you want. Please check the number you are calling’ or something of that ilk.

How would I say this - or something that gets the message across - in Polish?

Polish speaking Doper checking in!

This phrase should do the trick:

You are calling a UK number: " Numer do ktorego Pani dzowi jest w Angli

It is not the number you want: “Pani wykreca ten numer prawdopodobnie przez pomylke”

Please check the number you are calling: “Prosze sprawdzic numer do ktorego Pani dzwoni”

Keep in mind that considering the large number of Poles in the UK right now (there’s even a TV series about Polish immigrants and their antics in London" she most likely knows she’s calling the UK. Just not the right number so phrase #1 may not help, but hopefully the others will.

Cheerio!

I recorded **ntcrawler **sentences as wav files:
Numer do ktorego Pani dzwoni jest w Angli
Pani wykreca ten numer prawdopodobnie przez pomylke
Prosze sprawdzic numer pod ktory Pani dzwoni

Also note minor grammar and spelling corrections  Diacritics not included.

Thank you, ntcrawler and puppygod!

I would just simply say “zły numer”(Wrong number) or “Pani ma zły numer” (You have a wrong number) to keep things simple.

Oh, and the pronunciations for the above, approximated:

ZWIH NOO-mehr.
PAH-nee mah ZWIH NOO-mehr.
