Political Test

http://www.politicaltest.net/eng/

Interestingly enough I got Ordoliberal (a very fascinating system of economics) and then now I got Liberal (presumably Classical Liberal):

You are a Liberal. 4 percent of the test participators are in the same category and 39 percent are more extremist than you.
Cosmopolitan 8%
Fundamentalist 13%
Reactionary 20%
Anarchist 3%
Capitalistic 63%
Militaristic 42%
Anthropcentric 81%

This was pretty interesting. My results:

You are a patriotic Social Democrat. 2 percent of the test participators are in the same category and 92 percent are more extremist than you.

Nationalistic 9%
Secular 7%
Reactionary 2%
Anarchistic 10%
Communistic 4%
Militaristic 28%
Anthropocentric 50%

There were some really bizarre wording choices that suggest to me that whoever composed the test wasn’t a first-language (or particularly proficient second-language) English speaker. Anyway:

Shock, astonishment, I know.

I believe the site was German originally.

You are a liberal patriot. 2 percent of the test participators are in the same category and 62 percent are more extremist than you.

Nationalistic (28%)
Secular (58%)
Visionary (23%)
Amarchistic (22%)
Capitalistic (7%)
Pacifist (10%)
Anthropocentric (44%)

Its an interesting quiz. I’ve never really thought of myself as a patriot before, to be honest. I would’ve loved to explain a few of answers as I really wasn’t neutral on some of them but I wasn’t pro or con either. This type of thing isn’t meant to seriously define your life, I guess.

No real shockers for me.

You are a Social Democrat. 13 percent of the test participators are in the same category and 22 percent are more extremist than you.
Cosmopolitan 32%
Secular 76%
Visionary 42%
Anarchistic 43%
Communistic 50%
Pacifistic 14%
Anthropocentric 33%

Ah. That would explain stuff like “The globalization” etc.

I’m apparently a “democratic National Liberal.” That’s the first time I’ve every seen those three words arranged like that, so I have no idea what it means (and the capitalization adds to the mystery).

You are a liberal cosmopolitan.

Cosmpolitan 41
Secular 59
Visionary 22
Anarchistic 38
Capitalistic 29
Pacifist 28
Anthropocentric 66

5% are in the same position; 22 percent are more extremist.

You are a cosmopolitan Social Democrat. 14 percent of the test participators are in the same category and 65 percent are more extremist than you.

Cosmopolitan 23%
Secular: 77 %
Visionary 31%
Anarchistic 24%
Communistic 13%
Militaristic 8%
Anthropocentric 8%

It certainly reads that way, doesn’t it? I had to look up ‘delict’ in the dictionary just to be sure that I knew what it meant. And I have no idea what ‘solidarity’ means in the context of obligations on a citizen.

And I don’t think I’ve ever seen a survey where the response choices weren’t symmetrical. Yet here you get I fully agree but I strongly disagree, or I agree in part but I disagree. Very odd.

I am a social democratic Cosmopolitan (apparently). 15 percent of the test participators are in the same category and 68 percent are more extremist than you.

Cosmopolitan 28% Nationalistic
Secular 59% Fundamentalist
Visionary 20% Reactionary
Anarchistic 20% Authoritarian
Communistic 4% Capitalistic
Pacifist 38% Militaristic
Ecological 6% Anthropocentric

Hey, I’m a Cosmopolitan Social Democrat. No big reveal there.

Cosmopolitan 21%
Secular 62%
Visionary 13%
Anarchistic 25%
Communistic 13%
Militaristic 28%
Anthropocentric 72%

I’m a Democratic national liberal. Sounds about right I guess, for European definitions of liberal!

Nationalistic 18%
Secular 68%
Visionary 14%
Anarchistic 22%
Capitalistic 24%
Militaristic 31%
Anthropocentric 82%

The only surprise is I’m not more capitalistic.

I am a social democratic Cosmopolitan. (No, but it’s a common mistake. I just have a Jewish sounding name.)

31% cosmopolitan
52% secular
22% visionary
27% anarchistic
4% communistic
3% militaristic
29% anthropocentric

15 percent of the test participators are in the same category and 72 percent are more extremist than you.

I would disagree with the last rating. I’m actually pro-environmental regulation - just apparently not within the framework the test was designed for.

My assumption was a left-wing, union-related solidarity. And I had to look up “delict,” too, although I think we both would’ve made the right assumption.

Weirdly worded one: “Immigrants are always an enrichment for the hosting country.” Of course the answer to that question would be some form of “NO.” I have always followed the adage that a question which includes “always” or “never” should be voted against, because an exception almost always exists.

I did the short test earlier, and the long test just now. Results were very opposite in some ways

neoliberal Democrat, whatever that is. Guessing those are European terms.

cosmopolitan 4%
secular 13%
visionary 8%
anarchistic 24%
capitalistic 16%
militaristic 23% had some issue with these. Some questions assumed “rules” of war
anthropocentric 45% because meat is tasty

Psst, Cat Whisperer, those results don’t say which direction they go.

You are a cosmopolitan Social Democrat. 14 percent of the test participators are in the same category and 28 percent are more extremist than you.

cosmopolitan 31%
secular 84%
visionary 49%
anarchistic 47%
communistic 30%
pacifist 12%
anthropocentric 12%

cosmopolitan 25%
secular 70%
visionary 38%
anarchistic 31%
communistic 19%
pacifist 7%
ecological 2%

I feel pretty moderate with the obvious exception that I’m atheist.

I’m a social democrat. 13 percent of the test participators are in the same category and 36 percent are more extremist than I am. I dunno. The only thing that bothered me is that I was only 67% secular. Well that and some of the questions were meaningless to me.

8% Cosmopolitan
67% Secular
38% Visionary
35% Anarchistic
48% Communist
28% Pacifist
19% Anthropocentric

Social Democrat

4% Cosmopolitan
21% Secular
20% Visionary
23% Anarchistic
42% Communalist
17% Militaristic
17% Anthropolic

First impression, before starting the test: I noticed that the three choices for gender are “Male, Female, and Not Sure”.

Mildly curious at the spread of responses they would get if they also asked for the sex of the people taking the test.
