Well, that was quite interesting… I had windows open for both My Darling Clementine and Big Rock Candy mountain at the same time. A very interesting tune.

In both the adult and children’s versions of My Darling Clementine, the singer “kissed his sister” and forgot all about Clementine. Was this a rude slap at Californians, so long ago? I sang the song as a boy, and back then I didn’t think of the incest angle.
I thought that the stories were already warnings …
