1) Nationality, country of residence and age, please. Single male, age 49 USA
2) Do you currently own a home? I currently own - no debt.
3) If not, do you expect to buy? N/A
4) If you do own, do you expect your current home to be where you stay until they drag you out? (Where “drag you out” includes death, serious illness, old age and having to move for work reasons when you’d much rather not). Hard to say. I bought it expecting to retire from the job I was laid off from in 2006. I am in tech and the nearest other good jobs for me are at least an hour’s commute. If things fall through with my current gig, I will likely look for something somewhere else. OTOH, I have some options and have been offered a job by two different firms in the past 6 weeks that would allow me to continue to work from home. So the answer is - maybe.
5) If you think of your current owned home as temporary, do you expect to get a permanent home at some point? I will always go where I can find work - but I am not planning on moving from place to place. Also, if I were to find a woman, I would easily consider moving for her. My place is nice enough, but I have always said that a house with more than one person needs more than one bathroom.
- I’m an average white girl, usa born and raised, and I’m 51
- I currently own a condo, which I don’t reside in (if the economy weren’t so bad, I would have sold it before I’d moved to a different state, but for now, I’m renting it out until I CAN sell it).
- I would like to buy a home for retirement here in my new home state.
- If and when I can buy my next home here, then yes, I’m hoping that will be it.
- I think I answered this one above
- Nationality, country of residence and age, please.
