I hate ice so the OP scenario never happens at home. At work I would throw it in the sink.

Just thought I would share a tip I learned on “Get It Sold”. Apparently if you have divots in your carpet from old furniture placements, you’re supposed to put an ice cubes in them and let them melt. Then use a fork to fluff the fibers back up. Samantha Soto claims it “works every time”.

I guess I’m the only one that puts it in the plant, then? We have this hanging plant in the kitchen that’s hard to water, so I put ice cubes in it when I remember. Floor cubes always go in the hanging plant.

Yep - another plant person here…just throw it in there and let it melt.
One small toss for ice, one tiny step for water conversation.
