Poll: Pi, from memory

I just found my new personalized license plate! (Or phone number, removing the 9)

I’ve always memorized that last word as “obscurity”, which has 9 letters. “Circles” has always remained such, and never noticed it (and doesn’t sound right as a singular object)

I’ve read Cadaeic Cadenza, which is a story written with word lengths representing the first 3835 digits of pi, so, I suppose if you memorize it … (I have yet to read Not A Wake by the same author, apparently the longest work written to represent the decimals of pi, using the first 10.000.)

infinity plural, infinities, has 10 letters, not 9, so that sill doesn’t work. Better choice would be obscurity as suggested by dhkendall.

To 11, so I voted 8.

I do it in groups:

Know it to 9, voted for 8.

3.1415926 (8?)

I don’t need my circles any more accurate than that.

[Simon Cowell] Frighteningly enough, I can actually see that becoming a hit… [/Simon Cowell]

Let’s see…3.141592653589793238462338327…that’s as far as I can go, and I’m not even sure that every digit is correct. I’ll have to go look it up.

Obsucrity may be what it was - although I was sure that there was an infinity in there somewhere…

This Sunday is Pi Day!
