Poll: What did you call your private parts when you were a kid?

When I was little, girls had tee-tees and boys had ding dongs or dingers.

I’ve taught my son the no-nonsense way: “dick”, “balls”, and “bum”.

Why learn twice? Never been a big fan of baby words. My mum wouldn’t let us use them either:

“Lookit the puppy-wuppy…”

“It’s a DOG.”

“Yes mum”.

I never heard that, but my friends and I use the work monkey. Everytime anyone mentions a monkey, we all go into laughing spazams. We are extremly immature people. Not as much anymore though, it loses it’s shine after a while though.

I refer to mine as my girly parts. Guys have manly parts.

For me it was “penis”.

A friend of mine had neighbors who used the term mustn’t touch (as in… have you been playing with your mustn’t touch?!?)… you just knew there were going to be psychological problems in the future

I called it a juju. From what I gather, it’s a common Persian term. Boys had doodools.

My cousin called it a suzy which disturbed me slightly as a child. I thought that was the American word that every one used and couldn’t understand why anyone would name their child that.

My mother in law still uses the terms dinker and badoobies for male parts.

An Iranian friend of mine claims ‘juju’ means “little bird”, and it’s a term of endearment. In fact, her dog answers to JuJu as much as his actual name.

I asked the boyfriend.

As a kid, Ardred called it a penis. Now he calls it his banana. This makes me giggle, so he keeps calling it a banana.

My kids have come up with the term “Pirates” instead of privates. Nothing makes me giggle harder than hearing my daughter scream “I need piracy!” As for the girl parts, when I was little it was a who-who and I’ve continued the tradition with my children. Boys have a willy.

“pipe” for males, and “vagina” for females.

If I ever have kids, I’ll teach them to say “gladius” and “vagina”.

Male part: dingus, pronounced ding-gus. It has been called this for more years than I can remember.

This is going to sound really, really weird… but when I was a kid I named it my “donut.”

I’m a girl. :frowning:

A slight variation on an old favorite… Taddlywagger.

Hm, on second thoughts this thread does seem kind of  .

I told you so…ya li’l goober.
Goober was another word we used for it.

It didn’t matter what I called mine when I was a kid - it just wouldn’t come.
